My project for Nowhere 2008: The Runway

My name is Pasquale Borriello (PazCal) and here's my project for the Nowhere.
It is named The Runway.

It's basically a small path of white lights (about 18 metres long) aligned to the East-West axis. The Runway will be active on the 11th and 12th of July, from 10 p.m. for approximately 9 hours: everyone @Nowhere could use it to make her dreams and ambitions take off to outer space or make them land on our beloved earth.

The take off path is headed to East, and there's a yellow light at the beginning of the runway: all you have to do to make your dream take off is to stand right behind the yellow light, close your eyes and run as far as the end of the runway, marked by a green light. Then you can re-open your eyes. If you have any problems with the take off procedure there will be a flight assistant to help you, just ask for Paz.

The landing path instead begin from the West end of the Runway, and to make your dreams land on our earth you have to stand behind the green light, leaving the runway on your back. Then you close your eyes and begin to wave, as to signal to your dreams where the runway is. When you feel a warm breeze on your face, it means that your dreams have landed successfully, then you can re-open your eyes.

The Runway can be used by only one person at a time, but you can use it as many times as you like. The only thing I ask you is to respect the take off and landing queue. There will be a booking notebook you will be asked to sign if you want to use The Runway.
